Two Heads,One Shirt aims to explore how perceptions of who we are affect how we view and participate in sport. Drawing on their own experiences, Jake and Andrea challenge the pre-existing ideas of gender and sport. They embrace the stereotypical and champion the cliché; replaying situations in ways that subvert societal expectations.
This piece was originally scratched at Q Festival as part of the MA Takeover, and most recently at Live Theatre's 2018 Elevator Festival as part of their scratch night. In this collaboration, Jake and Andrea aim to merge their discussion ideas of gender and identity in a piece which juxtaposes male and female representation in sport.
This performance is supported by NEAD group as part of their artist residency scheme.
